Aisilyn drove down the road. SHe knew where she was headed. This mission required delicacy. This guy had powers that could really be used in the school. He possessed knowledge that she wouldn't mind possessing. He was a precious gem that she needed. A piece of the puzzle that would fit just right.
A file folder sat in her glove compartment. In it was a few things she needed to know about this guy. Powers, name, age, picture, normal stuff. But it wouldn't be the only things she needed. If he accepted her offer and came to the school, she would need to have him fill a few more things out. Things she needed for her personal files. Things only seen by her eyes.
Aisilyn parked the car out front of an auto garage. She stepped out looking as pristine as ever. She wore black trousers and a white button up shirt with a pair of black heels. She always looked nice and her hair was well brushed and slightly curled. She walked to the door and opened it, a bell going off as she walked in. She moved to the front desk and waited. SHe was the only one there.

Camaxtli was under a black, Honda Civic Type S, a nice little machine, but not really his cup of tea. He had been hired to do a MOT on the thing, so he was checking the breaks at that particular moment. So far it looked good, maybe a little work on the fan and its belt, but nothing too pricy.
He sighed and heard footsteps coming from the front of the garage. He grumbled a bit, he really needed to get some extra hands around here, but no one seemed to fit the bill when it came to what he really needed.
Karrl was a skill mechanic, especially for his age, after all, he was only sixteen. When he moved over here this garage, plus a nice sum of cash to get it up and running, was a moving present from his dad, the guy who trained him.
When he finished checking the breaks he pushed himself out from underneath the car and sat up, his face and hands were a little greasy. He walked over and gave himself a quick wash down before walked over to the desk. What he saw he liked, she was cute. He leant forward so he was leaning on his desk,
“May I ‘elp y’a?”

Aisilyn smiled when the kid came to the desk. He thought he was smooth. She had seen this so any ties before. "Karrl Garm also known as Camaxtli." She smiled. She figured it would freak him out at first so she smiled nicely. "I am like you, different. I can do things no normal person can. Like you, we are special." sHe stopped for a moment giving hi time to process. "I run a school here in town, a place of sanctuary for people like us. I would like you to come stay there. You will be safe there." SHe spoke offering him the chance of a life time. WHo wouldn't want to be safe and never have to run again?

Camaxtli nodded, but when he heard his other name, his codename his fist clenched, how did she know his codename, was she with the government. He slowly reached under the desk and clenched the handle to the weapon he kept under there.
It would be stupid to use his power in a place like this, and he could not stand guns, so what he had in there was a broadsword. Not only could it kill easy, but has there been a person who didn’t shit his pants when he saw a guy that looked like Cam wielding a sword with a 23 inch blade.
As the young woman continued his fist slightly loosened on the weapon and reached for something else. He picked up a sign and walked over to the door of his garage placing a gone for lunch sign up. He closed the doors and locked them. If she was here offering him work at a mutant school he did not want people overhearing, it was not good for business when people find out that their mechanic can wield fire.
He turned around and walked back over to the desk. He sat down and signalled for her to take a seat as well. They might be there for a while, so they might as well get comfortable. He then looked up and sighed before speaking,
“Be honest wi’d me, why d’a y’a want a kid like me at y’a school, I don’t buy d’a whole caring t’ing, everyone wants summin.”

Aisilyn had known about the weapon under the desk. She would have been a crappy telepath if she didn't. But it didn't make her worry because she new he wouldn't hurt her. She stayed calm and continued speaking.
When he moved to the chairs, she followed and sat down, crossing her legs. "I do care. My goal with this place is to make it a safe haven where mutant's can live in peace." SHe paused and looked at him. "But to be perfectly honest. You possess gifts that I require. Your power being one of them. But your skills as a mechanic is invaluable. We have many vehicles at the school and I will even send you to school to learn about working on planes and helicopters. Seeing as we have one of each." SHe siled. SHe new it would get his attention. Big toys always caught guys attention.

Camaxtli listened on, so she did care, he could not help but smile at that thought. It was rare to find someone who actually gave a crap, he like this woman. The only people to ever give a shit about him in his life were his father and the mechanics at his dad’s garage. She was impressing, not because of what she could offer, but how she really was.
But when she mentioned she would send him to school to learn how to fix planes and engines he arched an eyebrow. He was about to ask why when she also mentioned the fact they had one of each, that really got his interest. He was not your typical guy in some aspect, it was not the fact they had a plane and a helicopter the peek his interest, it was the possibility that brought him.
There was a simple fact that one of his goals in life was to become a great mechanic, and that meant learning how to fix any vehicle, so the opportunity she was giving him help his own personal goals to no end. He leant forward and rested his chin on his hands which were supported by his legs. He then looked to the side,
“I will gladly work as y’a mechanic, but I can not work f’a free, me time will be, but y’a will still ‘ave t’a pay f’a the parts. D’a small vehicles y’a ‘ave, y’a cars, van, bikes ‘n’ such can be brought ‘ere, but d’a plane ‘n’ d’a helicopter, once I know w’at I’m doing, well, y’a understand where I going wi’d d’is.”

Aisilyn nodded. "I don't expect you to buy parts. Any vehicle that stays at the school, the school will pay to fix. I would just rather have someone I can trust to work on them. We have younger people riding and driving these things and I don't want them falling apart on them." She explained. She was protective over all her students, not just her daughters. "The plane is in a hanger out at the airport. The helicopter is housed at the school." SHe smiled. If anyone needed to go far and fast, they had the means to do it. Best part is, most trips are funded by the school. Aisilyn wasn't about to make her students pay for meager things. They were her charges, she was responsible for them.

Can nodded, he figured the plane was at the airport, but if they had a helicopter at the school, well, it would have one big garage, or a helipad. He then smiled and pulled out a pack of smoke. Lucky for him the garage was big enough for him to sit on this end and have a smoke without the fear of things exploding. He then offered one to this woman before lighting up and speaking,
“Fair enough, look, if y’a can get me a list ov’ w’at vehicles y’a ‘ave I can speak wi’d me supplier t’a put d’a parts I might need on standby. Oh, I forgot t’a ask, w’at’s y’a name? Oh, also, w’at are y’a gifts?”
It was strange that he didn’t ask before, after all he was going to be working for her. He figured it was her good looks, and the number of explicitly naughty images that had passed through his head when he was talking to her.

Aisilyn smiled and refused the cigarette before pulling out a card with the address to the Sanctuary. "If you want to know what vehicles we have, you can come see them after work. I know we have a couple of trucks, a few cars, a van or two, and at least one motorcycle. But we constantly get more people with cars coming in." She handed him the card. "That is the address and the phone number. I am not sure if any of them need repairing just yet though. But you never know with how teenagers drive and all." She joked. She knew the vehicles that belonged to her or the school were new.
Aisilyn smiled. "My name is Aisilyn Willow Bronwyn. I have the ability of Telepathy, Empathy, Psychokinesis, and Precognition." She knew that they were big words, but she also knew the boy was smart. He would understand.

Cam mentally cringed when she mentioned she was a telepath, he would have to keep a check on his thoughts when he was around her, but it would be hard. Man, I should keep a check on my thoughts, but god damn can she blame me f’a wanting to ‘ave her over me desk, come on Cam, she might be listening.
He took the card and looked at it. He then put it in his pocket. Looking around he tried to get his thoughts in order. He wanted to find a topic that would keep his mind off the red topics. He then heard the fact they had a fair few vehicles, that got his mind off it. He smiled slightly before speaking,
“I will come ‘round tomorrow morning bef’a I open shop t’a write up a draft, I’ll put it into a databank on me computer so I can keep track on w’at vehicles y’a ‘ave.”

Aisilyn had to suppress a laugh as she heard the thought bouncing through his head. She couldn't turn her telepathy off. That is what killed her sometimes. She never could focus on one thing with lots of people around. To many voices speaking at once. "Karrl. Fyi, I hear every thought. I can't pick and choose on what I want to hear. It all goes through. Makes it hard to concentrate sometimes.": SHe spoke with a smile.
Aisilyn nodded. "That is perfectly fine." She knew he would want to keep this shop. Who wouldn't. It was something that was just his. "So, I will be expecting you to be moving in this weekend." SHe spoke. SHe didn't ask, she knew.

Cam nodded, so, he would have a place there, and she was ok with him keeping the garage, which was good. If she had asked him to give up the garage, even though she was offering him a great deal, he would have turned her down. This was his garage, and not only that his father must have saved a great amount of time to give him this, and there was no doubt Karrl would pay him back every penny and pound it cost him.
He stood up and walked over to the garage doors, he unlocked them but did not take away the gone for lunch, because, as the sign says, he was gone for lunch. Cam was starving and wanted a bite to eat. He had been here for a few weeks and had found a regular place that sold good old English food, and a traditional English put, so he was set.
Karrl then turned back to Aisilyn and smiled. She was a nice woman, and was looking forward to working for her, there was no doubt about this. There was one thing that was running through his mind, what would the repercussion of him siding with a mutant group, and would this mean he might bump into his mother’s old group. These things would be answered he was sure about that. He then spoke,
“T’ank y’a f’a d’a offer, I will move in as soon as I can, but y’a must know summin, well, y’a might already know, it’s about me mum…”

Aisilyn smiled and held up one of her hands to cut him off. "You don't have to say anything. I already know. You don't have to worry about a thing. By living here, you side with neutrality, peace between the races. I want everyone to just get along, so that is how I run my school." SHe smiled. SHe was a major pacifist, but she knew fights would happen. She just hoped that one day the world would be at peace.

Camaxtli nodded, if she knew it would a little less worry for him. After all if she knew that her mother was once one of the villains and still was willing to accept him, then he would be all the more glad to accept her offer.
He looked around and walked back over to her. He reached inside of his back pocket and pulled out a card. It was his business card. He then turned it over and pulled out a pen and wrote a number down. He then handed it to her,
“On the front is the garage’s number, and the number I wrote on the back is my personal number.”

Aisilyn nodded and took the card. SHe looked at the numbers. "Your making the right choice." SHe smiled nicely. She liked to help people and helping to keep this kid on the right path and to keep him safe was part of who she was. She couldn't let him just drift through life or get taken by the government. If she did she wouldn't live with herself. It was just the way she was. She was the mother hen, always protecting her young. Even if they weren't naturally her kids. SHe treated everyone at the Sanctuary like her children in the protective way. But even though she did that she also knew that they were all their own person and let them make their own decisions. But she would always be there to pick them up when they fall.
