*Chris does not have a healing factor of any kind and thus anytime he uses his bony powers, it leaves nasty wounds on his hands that have to heal on their own.
*Chris can only make the bones protrude six inches out from his skin. He can make them shorter but he cannot make then any longer then that.
*He can use this in tandem with his super speed yet he only has a shooting distance of about twenty five feet when standing still or running normally and about ten feet while using his super speed
*Under extreme mental and/or physical stress, the bones can start protruding out of his hands unwillingly.
Description: Chris' bones are in a constant state of growth and regeneration. So to compensate for the growth, he can push the bones out through his skin and shoot them much like a bullet from a gun. The bones will either come out of his fingertips or out of the skin between his knuckles.

Origin: Chris was not born with this power. It is thought to have come along due to the vigourous tests the government ran on him.
Usage Cost: The more he runs at these fast speeds, the more tired he gets until he has to stop.
Weakness:
*He can only travel that fast for about an hour straight before he will pass out from exhaustion.
* If he is wearing any kind of shoes, then he can't get enough traction on the flooring and thus he cannot properly use his super speed powers.
* If his feet get injured in any way that slows him down considerably when he is using his super speed abilities

Origin: Same as above. Goverment testing on his eyes.

Weakness:
* If Chris' vision is blocked by any solid object, then he cannot use his perfect aim ability.
Description: Even though his range is limited, Chris has the ability to understand mathematical equations, and use them to aim perfectly from practically any angle. So when he does make a shot, he rarely misses.

Appearance: Chris by any normal standard looks just like your everyday kind of guy. Nothing about his appearance makes him stand out from a crowd. Nothing about him screams "mutant", which is always a good thing. Standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, he is of average height and with his slender frame and a layer of lean muscle, some would say he's pretty good looking too. His skin holds a good tan on it from all the years of spending almost every waking moment outside.

He has a mousy mop of dirty brown hair on top of his head that always seem to be crooked. No matter if he's just run a comb or a brush (or most likely his fingers) through it, it still lays in a slightly askew not so straight position. He has since given up on making it cooperate. A feature that most people are likely to notice about Chris is his eyes. What used to be a dark blue color are now after many months of experimentation a striking silver color with an ungodly black pupil. The pupils are like the night sky. Chris sometimes wears glasses to hide them but most of the time he doesn't even bother anymore.

The most obvious flaw on Chris' body would have to be his hands. All across and in between his knuckles are littered with scars due to the physical aspect of his mutation. They are several shades lighter then the skin around them and can be easily seen if you’re paying any kind of attention to him at all. Chris gets very nervous about these scars. He doesn't want people to see them and ask questions about them so more often then not, he wears a pair of leather gloves to hide them. And sometimes he just takes he chances and doesn't wear gloves at all. Other then that, he skin is pretty clear of any other scars or spots or things of that sort.

Clothing wise, Chris is wide open. He doesn’t really care about new styles or keeping up with the latest fashions. His wardrobe consists of whatever the hell is clean and looks decent enough. Which on most days for him, is a pair of jeans or some kind of shorts, a loose T-shirt, a jacket of some kind (be it leather or of the blue jean variety) and shoes of course...tennis shoes to be exact. They're the best for running in. And you’d be very hard pressed to find him in any kind of formal attire. He could count on one hand to times he’s worn a suit before moving here. He’ll wear them though if he has too though it’s just not his thing.

Personality: Overall Chris is a very cautious person. He doesn't trust anyone at first. They have to gain his trust and even then he isn't a very open person. He keeps all his feelings inside. He seems very indifferent maybe even apathetic at times but he really isn't. He just hides all of his emotions behind a straight face. About the only who can decipher his emotions for what they really are is his brother. Garrett is the only one Chris will ever truly open up to.

Despite the apathetic and uncaring front, Chris is actually a real sweetheart and very caring once you get past the barriers he puts up. But as always he is a very passionate and dedicated person. He jump into things with 150% of himself. Though he doesn't always think before he leaps which has and still does get him into trouble. He never gives up and will always go at it with the same force as he did to begin with. And Chris is fiercely loyal. He would never rat someone out even if he would get killed. That's just how he works.

History: Chris was born an hour after his brother Garret was. They both lived with their parents on a remote part of the Prince Edward Island in Canada. They lived a quiet secluded life away from other people. And they didn't mind the seclusion. They never had to worry about what they did or what other people would think of them. It was a nice and peaceful life for them.

That was until Chris manifested. For about six months before he found out he was a mutant, Chris felt this constant dull, throbbing pain all over his body. It was his bones growing and pushing against his skin. Then he had the shock of his life when one morning he woke up to see several six inch pieces of bone piercing his skin. He could see the blood as it poured from the three deep puncture wounds in his hand. He panicked shooting the bullets out of his hand and embedding them into the wall. His family was accepting of his mutation as well as his brother Garrett's who was a mutant as well. A telepath and telekinetic.

So they went to school trying to act as if everything was normal. And it was--mostly. Then it all went south very quick one day when he was 14. Chris was in class. He had been experiencing the same dull throbbing pain for about a week now. He didn't pay it much mind. He figured it would all be okay. Okay...yeah right. The teacher wasn't stupid. She knew something was up. Long story short: Chris' bones tried to come our through his skin but because he wouldn't let it, the bones had kept pushing into his skin and eventually he passed out from it.

He was unconscious for almost two days. Yet when he woke up, he wasn't surrounded by his family. There was only one man in his room. Nathaniel Harden. He had told Chris his parents and his brother were killed. He never did tell him how. But in actuality they were alive and searching for Chris who to them up and disappeared without a trace. Chris at first believed him as went with him when he said he was going to offer him a place to stay. Not a good idea. They wanted to use him as a weapon and would threaten him whenever he refused. And so for several years, he shamefully worked for the government capturing other mutates like him.

But one day Chris had enough and he broke hismelf out. But of course that had some consequences. He was no a fugitive in their eyes. Chris has now been on the run for a little over a year. Constantly moving and never making friends with anyone. He's heard about a place in New York that's supposed to be safe for people like him. And he's been searching for it. But something's gotta give. He's either going to get caught again or he's going to find this place. And he's hoping its the latter of the two...

Chris paced back in forth in the small room that he had been forced to live in for the last nine years. He knew exactly how many steps it was from end to end...sixty-seven. Sixty seven steps back and forth, back and forth, back and forth through the room. His bare feet barely made any noise as they came into contact with the hardwood flooring. The room was small yet functional. There was a twin size bed against one wall with a small nightstand with a lamp and a clock next to it. Then on the opposite wall was a small dresser with an equally small TV on it.

Chris sighed heavily as he sat down at the foot of the bed. He was so sick of this this entire mess! Sick of being used, sick of the violence...he was just sick of it all! He had to get out, run away...but how? He knew the window and door were rigged with some kind of alarm that would have gone off if they were opened. Maybe he should just take his chances. Chris bit his lip and muttered something under his breath in French. He had to do something! He couldn't do this for the rest of his life! So that was when he made the decision. Today was the day he was breaking himself outta here.

He sucked in a ragged breath as he pushed a single piece of bone out through his skin. Crimson red liquid ran down his hand from his knuckles. He took careful aim at the window from across the room. He didn't need to get cut by the glass. And with one solid motion, the bone went flying out of his hand. The glass shattered upon impact as the projectile sliced through it. The piercing alarm that went off upon impact went straight through Chris' head. He knew he didn't have a lot of time before those government goons would be piling in here like ants on sugar.

Chris quickly grabbed the bloodstained rag that was on the nightstand. He used that rag to help stop the bleeding. The wounds...it was just something that came with his mutation. Something he had to deal with on a daily basis. And he would---later, when he wasn't about to get killed. Chris heard the commotion over the alarm. It was close...scary close. Chris looked out the window to be sure no one was coming. Good. There wasn't. Well if Chris could consider himself lucky on one front, it was that the room was on the first floor. He didn't have to kill himself by leaping four or five stories to his death. Chris shimmied out of the window just as he heard the door opening.

"Do not let him get away!" Chris heard the voice but didn't dare look back. He jumped out the window. It was only five feet between him and the ground. He landed with a small grunt and then using his super speed...he was gone. Faster then you could blink. He had done it. He was free...but he was also a man on the run now...
